The Vented Base

A pie will bake more evenly when placed on a flat baking tray when in the oven. Air must then be allowed to circulate underneath the dish to allow for the heat conduction. The Mason Cash Perfect Pie Dishes feature a unique base design with raised feet to allow heat circulation and ventilation. Perfect heat circulation results in perfect pies.

Made From Quality Stoneware

Stoneware conducts heat slowly and more evenly than metal bakeware. These dishes heat up gradually, building and spreading the heat throughout, resulting in perfectly baked and browned pie bases and evenly cooked pie fillings.

The Embossed Interior

The Perfect Pie Dishes feature embossed corrugated ridges on the inside of each dish. These ridges provide improved heat distribution underneath pastry allowing a more even bake, better browning and an easier release form the base.

The Pastry Anchor

Pastry contains fats and through evaporation has a tendency to shrink when baked. The Perfect Pie Dishes feature an embossed pattern on each rim. This allows pastry to grip to the rim and helps prevent pastry from shrinking and slumping back inside the dish. For best result, cool the unbaked pie before baking.
